While attractiveness of lures will vary with seasons and locations, there is no lure that has been found to consistently attract wild dogs then dog urine. Also be sure to mix it up tho, using one lure all the time will teach dogs about trapping by associating the smell with his/her mate getting caught in a trap. 

Remember to check traps daily.  Traps are best set at the end of each day and checked each morning.  The use of trap alert systems is recommended to allow for a quick response to capture!
