The FurFindR Calling Unit is designed for those not wanting to adjust pitches and has actual sound bites installed.  The unit is encased in a weather resistant PVC which is designed to take minor rain & snow.

A weather resistant label is included inside the cap - just follow the diagram to select the sound desired.  The power switch is also inside the unit, keeping most working parts inside the unit and out of the weather.  Also incorprated in the united is the Photo on/off switch which allows the unit to shut off during the day, then turn back on during the night.

Instructions for Adjustable volume Fur-FindR    (Please read before using)

Twist off cap with black plug on it. You will see 3 switch’s, one rocker, one push button black, one push button red.\

The rocker switch powers the unit on/off. It must be on to do adjustments of sound and volume.

You select sound by pushing the black button while unit is sounding, each time the button is used the sound will change. Be sure the photo cell is covered for unit to sound. After selection do not push the button again until you wish a change. This sound will play until power is shut off or you change it. Unit will sound first about 15 seconds, then will move into the 30 second delay cycle. Selection will need to be made again after power shut off, the unit defaults to the first sound when off. Sounds play between 6 to 8 seconds on the regular units.

The red button is for adjusting the volume. You have 7 degrees of movement, usually the unit arrives full volume. Each push of the button changes the volume until it moves back the other way. Usually you will need to hear the sound twice to move thru all sound sets.

Unit use’s 4 AA’s or a 6 volt square lantern battery.  An extra battery cap is used to snap the power to the 6 volt battery. Remove the black plug, snap together and attach loose black wire to the positive side and red is to the negative side of the battery. This is to reverse the polarity caused by the two snaps being placed together. Please do not connect red to red and black to black this will short the unit out. Place plug back in place for weather resistance.

 4 AA’s last about 8 to 10 days to temps of 32 degrees, 6 volt will last 2 to 3 weeks to same temps. Insulation of battery’s will give more play time. These times are with fresh batteries.

Cover the photo cell for 24/7 use. Leave it open for night time use only. Some times dark shadows or heavy clouds will cause the unit to sound during the day when cell is open.

Use some type of opaque tape such as electrical tape for the photo cell.

Please become familiar with unit before use.

Unit is very weather resistant but intense moisture content should be avoided. Freezing temps only slow the battery life, they do not affect the working of the unit other wise.

Do not use 9 volt batteries in unit. This will short out the unit, and cause the unit to need repair at your cost. Other repairs will be done as needed at no charge depending on damage.

Introduces the “Fur-FindR”, a new addition to their unique small predator calling units. 

The Fur-FindR is designed for those who do not want to select a certain pitch as you do on the original Teaser. It has 4 actual sound bites of different animals. You select which one you want to play; these sounds have proven themselves in the calling and hunting fields for many years, helping harvest predators.

The Fur-FindR sounds are; Rabbit, Fox, Rodent, Bird, each one on its own loop, which will sound for 7 seconds and play every 30 seconds. This unit has increased both the time of sound heard as well as the distance between the sounds, following many requests of previous Teaser customers. Volume is now adjustable.

Incorporating the proven photo cell on/off design from the original Teaser unit, this unit will turn off during the daylight hours, turn on again during the night, or if covered will run 24/7, until battery life is exhausted. This feature is very helpful in increasing battery life and preventing theft.

Expected battery life is 5 to 10 days with 4 AA batteries, or 2 weeks with a 6-volt square lantern battery, unlike the original Teaser this unit will not function with 9-volt batteries. Time of use is dependent on the cold, below 32 degrees, the batteries slow down, insulate the unit for more time use of battery’s.

With the three switches inside, you can turn the power on; select the sound you want to play and volume, without worrying about any outside settings, a strong step ahead of the original Teaser unit. 4 AA batteries also fit inside the unit. This design change helps to increase ideas for insulating the unit without worrying about disturbing outside settings. Helping with cold temps that are hard on batteries.
