Pigeon trapping involves feeding the pigeons with the trap doors wired open. The feed and water is then placed inside the pigeon trap with more feed on the outside of the pigeon trap. After about a week or when the pigeons are eating all the feed inside the pigeon trap, cut down the amount of feed outside the pigeon trap to a small amount at the pigeon trap doors.

This encourages the pigeons to go inside the pigeon trap to feed. You can now unwire the pigeon trap doors, after placing feed and water inside the pigeon trap.

Also make sure the pigeon trap has shade for the birds as well as food and water and to check the pigeon trap at least daily or what your local animal welfare laws state.
